Dr. Robert Burns DVM
Dr. Robert Burns DVM is the Medical Director and owner of Darlington Veterinary Hospital . Since assuming leadership of Darlington Veterinary Hospital in 1989, Dr. Burns has consistently strived to advance the quality and scope of the services the hospital is able to offer. He is committed to providing state-of-the-art, compassionate, and individualized care to every patient, and to ensure that all pet owners have the personal attention they need to be able to make informed, educated decisions regarding their pets’ health.
Because of his compassion for the profession he dedicates a large amount of time studying and attending continuing education courses to improve his ever expanding knowledge of the medical and surgical care of dogs and cats. He has particular interest in abdominal ultrasound, echocardiography, emergency medicine and surgery, as well as opthalmology, cardiology, dentistry and orthopedic surgery.
After over 25 years offering veterinary service in Woodbridge, he is actively looking forward to the future and has completely renovated the facilities and has acquired absolute state of the art medical and surgical equipment to continue to offer the latest in excellent service.
Dr Burns is also very proud of the excellent team of associates and staff that have been chosen because of their utmost commitment to furthering the health and welfare of dogs and cats. It is easily recognizable that his staff look upon their role at Darlington as a vocation and are happy to be part of this great clinic.
Dr. Burns is married to Rhonda with whom he has 6 children who share his love for animals. They have five cats, Mimi, Tiggy, Lynx and Twiggy, Kik as well as three dogs, Wolf, Coyote, and Gaia.

Dr. Alesia Campoli
Alesia's childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian came true when she graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College. Her love for animals brought her to Darlington as a volunteer beginning at the age of 15, when she fell in love with the profession. Over the years, she has continued to gain invaluable experience under the guidance of Dr. Burns. She is thrilled and honoured to have joined the Darlington team as a veterinarian in the summer of 2014. Alesia enjoys building relationships with the Darlington patients and their families. She has a special interest in preventative medicine and nutrition. Outside of the clinic, Alesia enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her 2 adorable cats, Lily and Louie. She also enjoys reading and spending time outdoors.

Victoria has been a part of the Darlington Veterinary Hospital team since 2002, when she started as a young co-op student. Victoria always knew she wanted to build a career working with animals and her many experiences during her co-op year solidified that dream.Over the years, she has enjoyed caring for our patients from puppyhood /kittenhood and watching them grow into their senior years.Victoria has a passion for dental health and excels in dental cleanings.Victoria currently has 3 dogs: Abby, a Shihpoo, Scooby Doo, an Apple-head Chihuahua, and Shooter, a German Short Hair Pointer. Outside of the clinic, Victoria spends her time with her son Francesco Jr. and husband Frank.
Graduated from the Animal Care Program from Sheridan College in 2004 and recieved a certificate as an Animal Care Technician.
Veterinary Technician/ Behaviour Specialist
Kristen always knew she would be working with animals. She began volunteering at Darlington at the age of 15 and from then on, knew she needed to be a part of the Darlington staff. She then became an official part of the team in July 2012. Prior to working at Darlington, Kristen was a staff member at the Burlington Humane Society in 2011. She worked as an Animal Care Worker tending to the daily needs of the animals, especially those who needed medical attention. It is here that she rescued one of her beloved pets, Parker, a Husky/Shepherd cross.At the begining of 2012, Kristen was also working at Fit Dogs. Outside of the clinic, Kristen enjoys spending time with Parker, Muffin (a Lhasa Apso), and her rescue cat, Pi.

Veterinary Technician RVT -student
Bianca is another example of the commitment of the Darlington staff to mentor and train one of their own. Bianca was also introduced to the veterinary field as a young co-op student at Darlington in 2010. Her dedication and passion for our patients made her a perfect addition to the clinic, and she officially joined the Darlington team in February 2011.Bianca has a passion for treating sick animals and is full of excitement when they are recovered and going home to their loved ones. Bianca currently has 4 dogs: Boo, Bacio, and Baby (Pom-Chi's) and Liah (Presa Canario). She also has a chameleon named Scully.Outside of the clinic, Bianca enjoys walking her dogs and going to dog parks, horseback riding, and visiting Reptilia.
Currently enrolled in the Veterinary Technician Program at Sheridan College and will be further specializing in anesthesia.
